We Can't Afford Stephanie Simacek

Her Voting Record Speaks for itself

Simacek

Simacek Abuses Taxpayers

Simacek voted against cutting taxes on gas5, property taxes, income taxes, tips, overtime, childcare, and income for seniors.1

She voted against efforts to stop waste and fraud in Arizona’s food stamp program6 and even voted against efforts to stabilize the electric grid and ensure a steady stream of power.7

Simacek is Terrible on Education

She opposed efforts to extend Proposition 123’s education funding8 and to increase education-related funding that would benefit teachers11, military families10, law enforcement families9, and others.

Simacek criticized lawmakers for focusing pay raise efforts on teachers, and voted against the Arizona Teachers Academy (which enables teachers-in-training to pay off their college debt).11

Stephanie Simacek also fought to kill school choice programs that benefit kids with unique education needs.12

Simacek is Dangerous on Public Safety

She voted against funding law enforcement and appropriations for firefighters13, against funding for border security and personnel17, and she voted FOR Sanctuary Cities.19

She even voted against a bill that would have kept illegals from voting20, getting Commercial Drivers Licenses (think semi-trucks)21, and taxpayer-funded benefits.22

Simacek Votes with the Radical Left

Simacek is Bad for Kids

Simacek voted against a bill that “establish[es] a pilot program focused on child sexual abuse prevention and awareness in public schools.”32

In 2026, Simacek refused to advance a bill that requires public universities and community college districts “to provide a tuition waiver scholarship to the eligible child or dependent of a member or former member of the U.S. Armed Forces who has a disability rating of 30% or more.”10

In 2025, Simacek voted against a bill that adds substitute teachers and school board members to the list of “mandatory reporters” of suspected child abuse, sexual abuse, or neglect.33

In 2026, Simacek voted against a bill allowing schools to disqualify students from “interscholastic activities and programs” if they “have been convicted of, admitted to, pleaded no contest to, or admitted via a plea agreement to” (or are awaiting trial for) offenses such as “aggravated assault, violations related to sexual offenses, stalking, commercial sexual exploitation of a minor, domestic violence, or incest.”34

Simacek Should Give Arizonans a Refund

Stephanie Simacek was listed as one of “the Arizona lawmakers who missed the most lawmaking.”35

While others were working, Simacek attended a “wine and garden party” campaign event in Sonoma County, California.36

Another time, Simacek was off visiting the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago.37

Simacek even skipped voting on the state’s budget.38

Yet Simacek collected every paycheck, even when she didn’t bother showing up for work.39

Must be Nice to Get Paid for Not Doing Your Job!

Her Record Speaks for Itself.

Say No to Stephanie Simacek.
